Last year we did the Crumball rally in the SHED and did think we would do it again in a different car (plans for converting a Volvo into a World War II bomber were being hatched). However, I got looking around the tinterweb for other car based challenges and came across the Plymouth – Dakar Challenge and thought that looks a little more stretching. Before you could say bobs your uncle I had us signed up to it, leaving on the 4th April heading for Dahkla in the Western Sahara.
I have no idea what we have done because details appear a bit sketchy but I am sure all will become very clear, did have a quick check on a map and well its a long way – 4000 miles +.
How hard can it be?
